IFED Partners with Book Aid

IFED partners with Book Aid International to deliver 1,500 books to schools in Central Somalia. The books donated by Book Aid International will benefit thousands of primary and secondary school children in IFED run schools. Teachers will also benefit from carefully selected books that will improve their knowledge.

Teachers will also benefit from carefully selected books that will improve their knowledge. This is part of a wider initiative to ensure that children have access to high quality books to aid them with their studies and improve their success in life.

Welcoming this partnership, the CEO of IFED says,

“without access to high quality books children will fail to realise their full potential. These books will go a long way in helping the children we support”.

Currently, Somali schools lack adequate supplies of diverse books and many students rely on government curriculum text books.

Book Aid International states,

We’re very pleased to be supplying books to support IFED’s important work to improve education in Somalia. We hope that the books we provide will enrich the educations of thousands of young people, and we look forward to working with IFED in the future to help more young people access the books they need.”

Book Aid International supplies books to libraries and schools around the world with the aim of unlocking the full potential of communities.
